Please enter comments about the various on-line assessments that you look at for the Gavin School District RtI initiative. Please start (and use) a new blog for each assessment tool. How about also adding the web pages that you found the information on? That will help the rest of us get to the information.

This is a McGraww- Hill company, so at least they're reputable. In order to get to the information for Yearly Progress Pro, on emust click on "Products" at the top of the web page, then click on "K-12 Products", the 8th product down on the list is Yearly Progress Pro.
They offer two types of assessments: Curriculum based and Classroom based measurements. Aditionally, they provide tutorial exercizes for each standards that students are deficient in according to their individual needs and skill levels. Like all the other websites and products I've looked at, YPP gives teachers the ability to track student progress and identify gaps in learning. Like iSTEEP, you must submit a request for more information and price quotes. Unlike iSTEEP, you can do it right there on the website.
This tool also gives automated recommendations and assignments that support instructional focus. This means that it provides an intervention tailored to student needs.
I like that this product gives instructional practice for the student's individual needs on the computer. They all like to be on the computer but my concern is can they read the instructional practice by themselves or will they require an adult to be by them for assistance?
