iSTEEP was the best website by far (in my humble opinion, which by the way is the only one that counts) that I visited. The company not only provides direct assessments and software to monitor student progress, but they include recommended intervention strategies for specific, identifiable gaps in learning. In house and web based training is available along with other eLearning opportunities for educators. This is something I would strongly recommend looking further into.

One thing I forgot to mention is that in order to get a price quote, you need to send a written request to the company. Information as to where to send said request is on their web site.

I definitely agree!! One of the best products as it assesses reading comprehension through maze, and not just fluency. I really like how this program uses data to recommend a specific intervention to match the students unique needs.

This looks much like NWEA MAP but with additional progress monitoring. It is for K-12 grades so will work across our district.
* It is web-based so acess to computers will be an issue.
* It has 3 benchmark assessments a year.
* Web based intervention progress monitoring for tier 2 and 3.
* Per WEEK rate of progress reports.
* Has a component that translates DIBELS assessment data into student intervention.

NO mention - that I could find - about data updates and integration with student databases.

They do offer the most comprehensive program that I found. I was able to find the prices for most of their products. If you scroll down on the home page there will be a link to click to go to the product store. You can choose between specific components or complete packages-STEEP RTI Package is $12,690. The RTI package includes training for 10 teachers/staff and data management for up to 500 students in ONE school. You can add another school for an additional cost. They said this was the package most commonly used for initial RTI plans, but I think it only includes materials (assessments) for K-5. I guess we would have to purchase additional assessments for the middle school.
